PURELY A MATTER OF TASTE

Bavarian beer, Franconian wine and other regional delicacies are famous across the world. The Bavarian chefs, winemakers, brewers, cheese makers and bakers practice their skills with enormous passion and great attention to detail. They manufacture their products using a special blend of traditional processes and new ideas, and give locals and visitors unique taste experiences.

Like the Eisbock beer from the Schneider Weisse brewery: Brewery manager Georg Schneider VI refines this beer in wooden casks, like an elegant wine. Then there’s the red wine made by Paul and Sebastian Fürst in the Franconian town of Bürgstadt – this traditional winery has been instrumental in rescuing Franconian red wine from relative obscurity. And when it comes to traditional dishes, our personalities from the “Purely a matter of taste” category get truly creative: Alongside the classic Nuremberg Rostbratwurst (speciality sausage) and the “Kaiser roll with everything”, there are now some unusual sausage creations using ingredients such as cranberry and gingerbread.

Be inspired by our stories from “Purely a matter of taste”, and try some of these unique taste experiences for yourself.
